I ended up waiting on hold for nearly 30 minutes before I threw in the towel. I figured I'd try calling back later. If this happens again, I'm seriously thinking about CANCELLING my account for good!!

I'VE BOUGHT THIS THING TWICE AND GOT SCREWED BOTH TIMES. (Insert middle finger) The first time I got it from a repair shop, paying extra for the so-called "Screen Repair Guarantee" and having it put on by a pro. No one mentioned I had to register my purchase. A few months later, when I tried to make a claim because the product didn’t work as promised, I was turned down because I didn’t do their secret registration nonsense; ALL MY RECEIPTS FROM THE PROFESSIONAL STORE AND INSTALLATION WERE USELESS.

So, I played along and bought another kit with $300 coverage, which they gave me a discount on (NOT WORTH IT). When the kit arrived, I tried to register it, but it said my device wasn’t eligible. After several tries, I gave up. A couple of weeks later, my screen cracked, and I had to buy a new device. I was pumped to finally apply the hardener and get the coverage I PAID FOR (twice now). NOPE, DENIED! My PIN was invalid. Who's running this company, Charles Ponzi!? Their response below just shows they don’t care, only interested in shifting blame and being greedy.

I got a new screen protector for my phone. The first one was $40, but the replacement only set me back $10. It took just 2 minutes to place the order—no hassle, no nonsense. Awesome!

I picked up a cellhelmet "Fortitude" iPhone case at Batteries Plus for $39.99 on 12/15/22. I'm really not happy with the quality of the product and how the replacement was handled. The salesperson put it on for me. About a week later, I noticed the case was cracked (no misuse or "impacts"). I returned to Batteries Plus and was told that cellhelmet fully backs their product and to check their website for a replacement. I did just that and got an email saying the replacement would be sent after I paid $10.98. Out of that, $9.99 is a "processing fee" and $.99 is for the "shipping guarantee".

So now my $39.99 "fully guaranteed" case is gonna cost me $50.97. When I reached out to cellhelmet about these fees, they replied, "that has always been stated on our website".

Honestly, having to fork over what feels like a 27% extra charge to replace a defective product that was supposedly guaranteed just seems like a bad way to run a business. I definitely won't be buying any more of their products or suggesting them to anyone else.

Eli advised me to return the incorrect size screen protector I mistakenly ordered. I ended up shelling out nearly 8 bucks for shipping. I tracked the package, and your company has received it, but I STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN MY REFUND.
